Description

Brussels sprouts pan roasted with cumin and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 1  Pint (s) Brussels Sprouts, blanched and halfed
  • 1
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 2
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Butter
  • 3
  • 1  Pinch Cumin
  • 4
  • ½  Tea Spoon(s) Garlic, chopped
  • 5
  •  To Taste Salt & Pepper
  • 6

Directions

    1. Take whole brussels sprouts and peel off outer leaves and clip off bottom stem.
    2. Drop in boiling salted water for 2 minutes.
    3. Take out of water, cool and half.
    4. Heat oil in a saute pan on very high heat.
    5. When oil starts to smoke, add butter and brussels sprouts right away.
    6. Flip around in pan and add cumin.
    7. Flip again and add a little salt and pepper.
    8. Once you see some caramelization, add garlic and cook out for 1 minute.
    9. Place in bowl and serve.
