Panko crusted tofu pan-fried in sesame oil then drizzled with Miranda's Maple Teriyaki Sauce. A delicious appetizer or entree even if you're not a vegetarian!


  • 2  Cup(s) Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 1
  • 1  Pound(s) Tofu, extra firm, pressed of all moisture
  • 2
  • 1 1/2  Cup(s) Sesame Oil
  • 3
  • 3  Table Spoon(s) Maple Teriyaki Sauce
  • 4
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Chives, chopped

    1. Cut the tofu into 8 even rectangular portions
    2. Firmly press tofu into the panko on both sides
    3. Heat sesame oil in a pan with high sides
    4. Pan-fry each tofu for 4 minutes
    5. Remove and place onto paper towels to drain excess oil
    6. Cut each tofu piece on the bias and place on plate
    7. Drizzle with maple sesame teriyaki glaze and garnish with chives
