Description
Panna cotta is an Italian dessert made by simmering together cream, milk and sugar, mixing this with gelatin, and letting it cool until set. Chef Anthony's gelatin dessert is flavored with vanilla and goes great topped with fruit or spices.

Directions
- Sift gelatin over milk
- Let stand for 5 minutes to allow to bloom
- Slice vanilla bean lengthwise and strip into sauce pot
- Add cream and sugar to pot
- Bring cream to a boil, remove from heat
- Add milk and gelatin to cream and stir, wait for gelatin to dissolve, about 5 minutes
- Strain and pour into molds or glasses
- Refrigerate for 3 hours and serve
