Description

A refreshing salsa made with Papaya and Avocado. Great on top of Crab Cakes, Grilled Poultry or Fish. Or just enjoy with a bag of chips your guests will love this colorful salsa.


Ingredients

  • ½  Tea Spoon(s) Avocado, medium dice
  • 1
  • 2/3  Cup(s) Papaya, medium dice
  • 2
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Orange Juice, fresh
  • 3
  • 1  Each Orange, segments and remaining juice
  • 4
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Lime Zest
  • 5
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Lemon Zest
  • 6
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Flat Leaf Parsley, chopped
  • 7
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Salt, kosher
  • 8
  • 3  Table Spoon(s) Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 9

Directions

    1. Place all ingredients in a bowl
    2. Mix gently to break up the avocado pieces but not to smash
    3. Let set in refrigerator for 30 minutes to macerate
    4. Drain off some excess liquid before serving
    5. Serve as a salsa with chips or over your favorite grilled chicken or fish
