Description

I grew up on this Salsa, great by itself with a taco, steak, chicken, and salad. Also called "Salsa Bandera" because the ingredients are the colors of the Mexican flag.


Ingredients

  • 2  Each Large Tomato, diced
  • 1
  • 1  Each Medium Onion, diced
  • 2
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Cilantro, Chopped
  • 3
  • 1  Each Serrano Chili (add more for heat)
  • 4
  • 1  Each Lime, juiced
  • 5
  •  To Taste Sea Salt
  • 6
  •  To Taste Pepper
  • 7

Directions

    1. Place tomato, onion, chili, cilantro and lime juice in a bowl and mix to combine.
    2. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
    3. Serve immediately.
