Description

Classic Pot belly burger stuffed with bacon and topped with fresh cole slaw.


Ingredients

  • 12  Ounce(s) Weight Ground Beef (good quality)
  • 1
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2
  •  As Needed Salt and pepper
  • 3
  • 2  Fluid ounce(s) BBQ Sauce
  • 4
  • 2  Each Hamburger Buns
  • 5
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Olive Oil
  • 6

Directions

    1. Stuff ground beef with the bacon and form into patties
    2. Season patties with salt and pepper
    3. Grill both sides until desired temperature is reached
    4. Add a little oil to the inside of each bun, lightly Grill
    5. When burger is done, place in bun
    6. Top with BBQ sauce and cole slaw

    Homemade Cole Slaw

    Ingredients

  • 1 Cup(s) Cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 Cup(s) Mayonnaise
  • 2 Table Spoon(s) Cider Vinegar
  • Pinch Onion Powder
  • Pinch Garlic Powder
  • Pinch Dry or Prepared Mustard
  • Pinch Celery seed
  • To Taste Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Table Spoon(s) Sugar
  • Directions

    1. Mix together mayonnaise, cider vinegar, spices, sugar, salt and pepper
    2. Pour over cabbage, mix well
    3. Let sit in refrigerator for 30 minutes or more
