Directions
- In a large pot over medium heat, sweat the onion and celery in butter until soft and translucent
- Add the chicken broth, pumpkin puree, seasonings and heavy cream
- Simmer for 20 minutes
- Ladle into serving bowls and top with chopped parsley if desired
