Shrimp with Tequila and Agave

Description
This tasty unique Appetizer is quick and easy. Sauteed Shrimp in a seasoned cream sauce with a hint of tequila and agave sweetness. Has a Great Presentation.
Ingredients
- 6 Each Shrimp (size 16-20)
- 1 Table Spoon(s) Butter
- ½ Tea Spoon(s) Cumin
- ½ Tea Spoon(s) Coriander
- 1 Tea Spoon(s) Smoked paprika
- 1/4 Cup(s) Red Onion, diced
- 1/4 Cup(s) Tomato, diced
- 2 Table Spoon(s) Tequila
- 1/2 Cup(s) Heavy cream
- To Taste Salt and Pepper
- 2 Cup(s) Field Greens, lightly packed
- 2 Table Spoon(s) Cilantro, roughly chopped
- ½ Tea Spoon(s) Agave Syrup
- 3 Each Corn Husks
- 6 Each Skewers
Directions
- Heat pan and skewer shrimp
- Add butter to pan to melt
- Add cumin, coriander and paprika and mix well
- Add shrimp and start cooking on one side
- When shrimp is half way cooked, add red onion and tomato
- Cook out for 2 minutes then deglaze with the tequila
- Burn off alcohol until flame is gone
- Add heavy cream and let simmer for 6 minutes, it will thicken a bit
- Season with salt and pepper and agave syrup, mix well
- Tie corn husks in to the display bundle and place on plate with field greens
- When shrimp is finished cooking, place on the corn husks
- Taste sauce and Season
- Pour over shrimp
- Finish with cilantro
- ENJOY!
