Description

Traditional Swedish Shrimp Salad dressed with Creme Fraiche and Dill. This is a great first course or lunch item. It can also be made into delicious canapés'.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/4  Cup(s) Baby Maine Shrimp, cooked
  • 1
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Shallots, chopped
  • 2
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Pickled Cucumbers, medium dice
  • 3
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Fresh Dill
  • 4
  • 1/3  Cup(s) Creme Fraiche or Sour Cream
  • 5
  •  To Taste Salt
  • 6
  •  To Taste Pepper
  • 7
  • 1  Each Brioche Slice, toasted
  • 8
  • 1  As Needed Field Greens
  • 9
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Fresh Chives, chopped
  • 10
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Lump Fish Roe, or any type of caviar

  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Tomato Oil

Directions

    1. In a bowl, mix together shrimp, shallots, pickled cucumbers, creme fraiche, dill, salt, and pepper
    2. Taste and season if necessary
    3. Plate up the greens and the toast
    4. Cover the toast with a healthy portion of shrimp salad and top with caviar
    5. Top with chives and sea salt
    6. Drizzle with tomato oil
