Spaghetti Puttanesca

Description
This dish packs lots of flavor. Spaghetti with Puttanesca sauce. This is a tomato based sauce infused with sharp italian ingredients. Anchovies, olives, garlic, capers, parsley, and basil. Topped with Pecorino Romano Cheese. A must try.
Ingredients
- 1 Pound(s) Spaghetti
- 6 Each Anchovies, filets
- 1/2 Cup(s) Oil Cured Olives, cut in half
- 1/4 Cup(s) Capers
- 4 Cup(s) Pomodoro Sauce
- 6 Each Garlic cloves, sliced
- 1/4 Cup(s) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 Cup(s) Fresh Basil
- 2 Table Spoon(s) Salt, for pasta water
- 1 To Taste Black Pepper
- To Taste Pecorino Romano Cheese
- 1/4 Cup(s) Italian Parsley, chopped
Directions
- Heat a large saute pan on medium high flame
- Add olive oil and sliced garlic
- Cook for about a minute then add anchovies, cook until broken down in the oil
- Add capers, olives and pomodoro sauce, cook for about 5 minutes
- Add spaghetti, parsley and basil
- Toss and cook for 2 more minutes
- Place in a bowl, top with pecorino cheese and basil
