Description

Stromboli is a type of turnover filled with various cheeses, Italian meats such as Pepperoni and ham or vegetables. The dough is Italian bread dough.


Ingredients

  • 1  Each Basic Pizza Dough
  • 1
  • 8  Ounce(s) Weight Ham
  • 2
  • 8  Ounce(s) Weight Pepperoni
  • 3
  • 4  Ounce(s) Weight Mozzerella Cheese
  • 4
  •  To Taste Parmesan Cheese
  • 5
  •  To Taste Olive Oil
  • 6
  • 4  Fluid ounce(s) Tomato Sauce
  • 7

Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
    2. Cut the dough into 4, 6 or 8 pieces (depending the size you want your stramboli to be)
    3. Roll each section into a long and wide strip (see video)
    4. Top with fillings, sauce and cheese
    5. Fold over and tuck around the bottom
    6. Place onto a tray and open the edges up to create that classic stramboli appearance
    7. Brush with olive oil
    8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown
