Description

Thai coconut & lemon grass sauce made with lemon grass puree and coconut milk which you can find at any Asian market.


Ingredients

  • 24  Fluid ounce(s) Coconut Milk, canned
  • 1
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Lemon Grass Puree
  • 2
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Ginger, chopped
  • 3
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Garlic, chopped
  • 4
  • 6  Fluid ounce(s) Pineapple Juice
  • 5
  • 1/3  Cup(s) Rum
  • 6
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Oil
  • 7
  • 2  Table Spoon(s) Sesame Oil

Directions

    1. In a pot, heat up coconut milk
    2. In a small sauce pot, add oil and sesame oil to sauté garlic, ginger & lemon
    3. Add rum and pineapple juice in with garlic ginger and lemon, bring to a simmer and let reduce, about 2 minutes
    4. Add warm coconut milk, bring to a boil for 3 minutes
    5. Cool and puree in a blender
