Description

These cookies are made with all natural ingredients and sweetened with maple syrup then topped with your choice of fruit preserve. A great snack for adults or children if you're trying to make healthier choices.


Ingredients

  • 1  Cup(s) Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
  • 1
  • 1  Cup(s) Almonds, grinded
  • 2
  • 1  Cup(s) Rolled Oats, grinded
  • 3
  •  Pinch Sea Salt
  • 4
  • ¼  Tea Spoon(s) Ground Cinnamon
  • 5
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Olive Oil
  • 6
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Maple Syrup
  • 7
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Vanilla Extract
  • 8
  • 1  As Needed Jar of Fruit Preserves (Raspberry is used)

Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
    2. In a bowl, mix dry ingredients together: flour, ground almonds, ground oats, salt and cinnamon
    3. In another bowl, mix wet ingredients together: maple syrup and vanilla
    4. Add dry and wet ingredients together until just combined
    5. Using an ice cream scoop, shape dough into a golfball size
    6. Place on cookie sheet lined with non-stick parchment paper
    7. Press down on each cookie to flatten cookie then make a thumbprint indentation and fill with fruit preserves
    8. Bake for 20 minutes in oven
