Description

Lo mein noodles stir fried with snow peas, scallions, Napa cabbage and bean sprouts. Add chicken or pork if you like!


Ingredients

  • 1  Pound(s) Lo Mein Noodles
  • 1
  • 1/2  Cup(s) Scallions, chopped
  • 2
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Bean Sprouts
  • 3
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Napa Cabbage, sliced
  • 4
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Onion, sliced
  • 5
  • 1/4  Cup(s) Snow Peas
  • 6
  • 4  Table Spoon(s) Neutral Oil
  • 7
  • 1  Each Garlic Clove, minced
  • 8
  • 1  Tea Spoon(s) Soy Sauce
  • 9
  • ½  Tea Spoon(s) Oyster Sauce
  • 10
  • ½  Tea Spoon(s) Sesame Oil

Directions

    1. Add water to wok and bring to a boil
    2. Add noodles to boiling water
    3. Blanch for 30 seconds then strain and set aside
    4. Add snowpeas and cabbage to water
    5. Blanch for 30 seconds then set aside
    6. Discard water from wok and place wok back on high heat
    7. Add oil to wok, spread around to coat evenly then remove half of oil
    8. Add garlic, onions, bean sprouts and scallions, toss to stir fry
    9. Add blanched vegetables and noodles
    10. toss to combine
    11. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil
    12. Taste and season if necessary
    13. Plate up and enjoy!
