A sauce made from whole grain mustard, white wine and butter. Excellent on any fish, chicken or pork dish.


  • 4  Table Spoon(s) Butter, diced
  • 1
  • 3  Table Spoon(s) Shallots, minced
  • 2
  • 1/4  Cup(s) White Wine
  • 3
  • 1  Cup(s) Chicken Stock Slurry
  • 4
  • 1  Table Spoon(s) Whole Grain Mustard
  • 5
  •  To Taste Salt & Pepper

    1. In a sauce pan on medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter
    2. Once butter is melted, add shallots and let cook until translucent, about 2 minutes
    3. Add white wine, chicken stock slurry and mustard to the pan and whisk
    4. Bring to a simmer then reduce heat and let reduce until thick
    5. Slowly whisk in butter, whisking until melted
    6. Taste and season with salt and pepper
